Externally mounted Air channel, distributes forced air into the crown and mouth vents of the Arai GP-7 helmet series, using 3-pieces to accommodate installation on all shell sizes. The manifold was carefully developed using Fire-Retardant Poly carbonate material, to comply with the fire ratings of FIA and SA helmet standards, and is mounted with double sided tape on the perimeter flange to remain frangible and allow it to crush or breakaway in an impact and not interfere with the helmets protective performance. The manifold and it's mounting method are homologated to the FIA-8859-2024, FIA-8860-2018 and FIA-8860-2018 ABP certifications and must never be affixed permanently to the shell, as this will void its FIA certification.
